Out Of Commission....Again

Once again my bug has something wrong with it. This time it is a gas leak. Well it doesn't really leak, it pours out of my car. I ran out of gas at the minute market, so I put about 5 dollars in it today and by the time it was done I had leaked out enough gas so that it wouldn't start again. Is that bad? I guess that I will start driving the Subaru again. Its not that bad I guess, I love my baby but the Subaru is just so easy to drive.

Who Uses Dial Up

Wow, dial up is the worst thing ever. I currently have no cable, because my mom cancled it for some God forsaken reason. So this is my official update for now. Donnie's birthday is tommorow, the big 21, and hes having a little get together at Kaleidoscope pizza. I joined a soccer league with my brother, we tied this afternoon. I am totalluy out of shape, so i will start running every morning till school starts. My mom has also just told me that i will have to start paying insurance on my car starting this September. For your information, i dont have a job or any money, so my mom suggested taking the bus to school. YAY!!!. I did some work for my aunt to earn some money, and i also drove to Portland, picked up my mom's boss' daughter from the airport, and drove her back home for 150 dollars, not bad. So that is the money that i will be living on till school starts. I just tried to use the spell checker, but that takes way too long for each work to come up. I atually have to proof read my post, havent done that in while.

Review Of The 4th

Miles field had an OK show this year. Last year was definitely better. Like I told you before, the security guards went all commando style on us. As my mom and my youngest brother Alex were walking up to the Manor, they were questioned by one of the so called "security guards."

Security Guard: So, where are you guys coming from?
Mom: Oh, we live just down the street.
Security Guard: Well okay, so where are you coming from?
Mom: (sarcastically)Well, you see that house with the fireworks going?
Security Guard: I sure do
Mom: That's where I'm coming from.( she points to our house that is 1 house away)
Security Guard: Oh, so you a Machado.
Alex: No, she's THE Machado

I have to let you know that Alex is 14 years old, 175 pounds of muscle, and just about 6 ft. He's a bruiser. It's kinda funny hearing this because I know how young he is, and most people think he is in high school.

"Today we celebrate our Independence Day"

Happy 4th everyone. Pretty low key 4th we're having this year. Just barbecuing and watching and lighting off some fireworks. Usually a pretty fun time. Later we go on up to the Manor, since we live across the street in all, and watch the fireworks that are usually at Miles field. They usually just let us up there, along with the other Manor residents, to watch the fireworks. It is a perfect view from there. The explosions are just at eye level so it a whole lot cooler from there then anywhere else. What sucks is that the manor security go all army commando style trying to keep people off the hill. They block off the roads so that no one can park up there and watch the show. I quess that they have that rihgt since they have basically bought the entire hill.

Hostage

I've just got done watching the movie Hostage, again. My mom just bought the DVD. I saw it in theaters when it first opened and it was just incredible. It is a very well made and put together movie. Jeff Talley(Willis), who was on SWAT for 10 years, a top negotiator for 7 years, and is not a small town local cop, is forced to save his own family that has been taken hostage. But along the way, much more difficult obstacles arise. Willis could have totally played this role in his sleep, but that's not the point. The point is that with Willis, along with an extraordinary screenplay, miraculous things can happen.

My Brothers New 22's

My brothers old 20's , that he bought less then 3 weeks ago, were not working out for him, so he decided to upgrade to some new 22 inch Milanni 552's. Milanni is new the Rogue Valley, so no one else, yet, has these wheels. These are some big mean looking things. When we 'cruise' around, almost every person in the area gets whip lash. Should I get a picture of my Moleskine with these bad boys?

Who Would Buy This?

Oakley has produced a solid gold 18-karat watch. I think that it is ugly as hell. If I were to pay 25,000 dollars for a watch, I would want it to be a little more classy then that. But I guess there are 30 year old kids out there that inherited millions from there richy rich parents and can afford an Oakley watch like this.

My New Moleskine Pen

I think that I am steering away from the Pilot G2 as my daily pen and crossing over into the realm of Papermate and their X-tend ballpoint pen. I have always enjoyed the look off the ballpoint on paper and the feel is classic. The G2 provides a bold black line, which is awesome for details when drawing, but ballpoint is more comfortable. Literally more comfortable in the hand and just more comfortable using. Not sure if I will continue on with the G2, but I'll hold on to it none the less.

Concept Crazy

It is amazing all the new concept designs for classic cars. Major manufacturing companies are starting to hop on the new school For Mustang band wagon. There are a lot of classic designs being put on the line with the new age touch. Here are my favorites:
  1. Chevrolet Camaro
  2. Dodge Charger
  3. Ford Bronco
  4. Dodge Magnum
  5. Ford Mustang
I hope that they continue to look for cars they think will sell well. I would suggest the Stingray Corvette. Probably one of the craziest designs, I think, especially for its time.
