Monday Funday

Today was supposed to be the day Donnie, Molly and I go down to Redding to Water Works water park, but being that it was 90 degrees there, and felt like 85 degrees, we decided to scratch that idea. Instead we turned it into a nice Monday Funday.

For lunch we went out to the Dirty Bird and saw this little lady. It was a pretty nice lunch. Then we made out way out to the Family Fun Center. We started off with some miniature golf, which I won despite what either of those tricksy Jeters say. Donnie was a close second being only 1 stroke behind me, but if he knew anything about competitions, he'd know that it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winnings winning. Then we moved right on to bumper boats, which I believe was my second time ever. I don't think anyone wants to walk their soggy ass around the FFC and look like tard, I know I sure don't.

After, we went back to the Jeter household and watched some Yo! MTV Raps with Jill and Big Don. Sexyback, so hot right now, Sexyback.

I've had the past two days off and have one more tomorrow, it was a little gift the manager gave me after realizing he gave me a thirteen day spree of closing shifts. I should make back on this paycheck because I was called in on a couple days giving me some good hours.

ps. What looked to be a horrible putt actually ended up to be a Flickrizing picture. Simultaneously Donnie and I said, "Flickr ya'll!"

The Saga Continues

On Tuesday the 1st, my new address will be 3151 Forrest Hills road, and Donnie and I will be roommates. I have started packing today and will continue through Monday. On Tuesday I will be moving all my stuff in, hopefully one trip. I don't have to bring too much, which is nice, but whaI i have is big and heavy. I'll be bringing my own bed, and though I was offer Scott's bed, I have deep connection to mine and would feel awkward without it. I have a bigger TV then what is in there at this time, but my sister says she will loan me hers, which is even bigger then mine is. I will probably haul over a dresser and my computer desk, in hope of purchasing or charging one in the near future.

This is just another wonderful chapter in 'The Life of Adam Machado,' and it all became possible with my current employment at Costco. That is also another benefit, I now only have to travel two minutes to get to work, instead of previous path which started in south-east Medford, trucking it up the freeway to north Medford, and through heavy traffic to get to work. No more swamp ass at work for me.

FSM, I'm A Believer

FSMism
Besides my Jesus shirt arriving, which got here on Wednesday, my FSM car emblems arrived this afternoon! I picked up a few extras so that I can give some away to the ones who have truly been touched the FSM's Noodly Appendage, but it won't be easy proving that you are worthy of such a kingly gift. I will contact you if you are deemed "worthy." FSMism is the religion of the SOB, and you will see the emblems on each of the rides of the 3 KingsSexyBack.

Snakes on a Plane

If for no other reason, please, Limewire Cobra Starship's "Snakes on a Plane" for Samuel L. Jackson. It opens with him shouting this,
"That's it! I have had it with these mother fuckin' snakes on this mother fuckin' plane!"
(thnx as '06)
Sam Jackson, besides being a biggest b.a.m.f. ever, is without a doubt the most intense swearer in the history of the universe. He has proven so in movies such as Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Jurassic Park.

Clerks II

I saw Clerks II this afternoon with Sam, Erin and JP. It twas glorious. Classic Kevin Smith genius, like Sam said. What Sam mentioned, but not in his post, was the soundtrack... Classic Smashing Pumpkins, 1979, ooph. Also, as a spoiler, the ending in black and white was greatly appreciated. Kevin Smith, I salute you.

Randomness Returns

Motorola's new Krzr and Rizr cell phones. The Krzr is a thin Razr, while the Rizr is a Slvr slider. Both are equipped with 2 megapixel cameras. (I just realized Donnie made a similar post. Anywho.)

"Then I'm gonna take Dorothy Mantooth out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her again." "Dorothy Mantooth is saint!"

Kal Penn and Brandon Routh make a very Lazy Sundayish video. Starts off slow but the very very end is worth the wait.

These should be spotted soon in Medford.

My Brother Is An Artist

Payday

I just received my first full paycheck from Costco today, and it feels phenomenal. On this paycheck I missed a day or two because my most recent wipe-out, and I had low hours anyway, so it looks like I should make more than this check from here on out.

Pff, Old People

The day I have enough time to take my brother out so he can learn to drive, we run into fucking senior citizens who have no idea what the hell they are doing.

My little brother, Alex, who is 15, asked if I would let him drive to the Minute Market. Being the caring and B.A. older brother that I am, I agreed. He entered the Market just fine, he found a spot and parked great. But on the way out of the parking lot is where we found trouble. So Alex backs out of his spot and puts it into drive. Then out of nowhere, some oldie starts to back out, as we are sitting there letting someone begin to park, and nearly hits the passenger door, where I am. So now we begin to head out. Someone just entering the lot stops and lets someone else pull out of their spot while leaving enough for us to get out. Then as Alex begins to pull forward, a SSC, or Super Senior Citizen, drives in recklessly into the lot taking up the lane meant for people leaving the parking lot (depending on point of view, people entering use the left side while leavers use right side). This forces Alex to slam on the breaks. Oh yea, while he was in the Market he picked me up a 44oz Pepsi as a way to say thanks for this opportunity. So, now that 44oz Pepsi is all over the floor panel of the passenger seat, sloshing around. And to add to my frustration, I was wearing sandals, YAY! The SSC wasn't even going to the Market, she was using the parking lot as a short cut to the bank. That earned her a well deserved middle finger, compliments of Adam Machado, which lead her to say, "Whaaaaaaa?"

Alex shrugged off the incident quite well and drove the rest of the way back home like a true champion, like a true Machado.

Happy Birthday, Andrew

Today is my younger brother's birthday. His name is Andrew, he's now 20 year sold, he drives a scooter, and it took 5 tries for him to get his permit. He's a badass, and he's quickly achieving Adam-like levels of B.A.. Have a good one Drew.

I got him this for his birthday, then picked this bad boy up for myself. We just so grown-up.

ps. It wasn't until we watched The Big Lebowski for Drew's birthday that I fully understood what this shirt meant. This shirt was an easily recognizable one to me, I was a huge S.B.T.B. fan. Now I'm a Big Lebowski fan, and it takes up four spots in my 'Top 10' list. I actually haven't made a list yet, but when I do you can be assured that 'Lebowski' is reserved for four spots.

pps. Since this is kinda turning into a post about The Big Lebowski, I thought that I might as well add this awesome movie for you guys to watch. It's basically The Big Lebowski, but effing short. ::wink::

Double Z

I didn't get to watch the final match of the World Cup, and I guess that I underestimated to awesomeness of Z's headbutt. In soccer you see a lot of little headbutts, but Z's was like a goat ramming into something with his head. Z is now recognized as a real soccer player in my book.

Superman

Superman also kicked ass. I liked it a lot, but there have been others, friends and just people I hear talking about the film, that didn't think that is was that great. Same thing with the new 'Pirates' movie. You can't deny that these both were awesome.

I think that people are setting their standards way too high recently with all the new movies coming out, comic book related or not. Maybe if the openings were spread out more, people would have better reactions to the films. But when you have two or three highly anticipated films come out all within a week of each other, I think that people will ultimately be disappointed, only because they have a favorite then dislike the others, or because the get so pumped that all these comic books hero's are now on the big screen and begin to expect too much.

Pirates

'Dead Man's Chest' kicked ass. A lot of really sweet effects, action, and some entertaining humor spots. The ending is totally badass. Keira Knightley, sooo hot, want to touch the hiney.

I'm Modoc's Whore

Donnie's uploading pictures so you can understand what I mean.

My first time long boarding outside of Donnie's complex was quite an experience. My mark, as a total badass, has been left on Modoc road in east Medford.

July 4th Pictures

Fireworks

Fireworks

Fireworks

Here are some pictures I took of the fireworks being shot off at the new baseball field behind the new Les Schwab on South Pacific. I was up at the Manor, because I left just across the street, and the fireworks were going off just at eye level. It was awesome.
More Pictures...

ps. I picked up my SLVR this afternoon. Ooph.

Pirates

'Dead Man's Chest' set a record 3-day debut taking in $132 million so far in it's opening weekend.

I hope it's as good as it seems. I had some people at work say that they first one was better. I can tell just by the trailers that this couldn't be true. I was so close to telling her to shut the hell up. Anywho, the Sphere needs to get out to this soon.

Looks like the FSM's plan is all coming together. Hehehe.

World Cup '06

Make Dat Money, Take Dat Money...

Aint no way you can take dat from me.

I got my first paycheck from Costco on Friday. Whew, it's the biggest check I've ever received, and it was only for one weeks work. So many new doors are opening for me now that I have a job, and on top of that a job that pays well. I am getting a cell phone, the SLVR probably, and moving in with Donnie and Scott is looking even more promising.

So what has Adam been doing without the Intranet?

Well, lets see. Went here, kicked it there, and this was a crazy night. Just livin' the life I guess, just livin' the life.

Update Ya'll

This is an update.

So, I am now starting my second week at Costco. I worked like 28 hours last week and about 8 of those hours were time and a half (15/hour). I work like 30 this week ending on Friday. Its a pretty fast paced job. I was hired because they just lost their two top guys back there and they needed some speed back there to keep things moving. They must have known that I'm a cougar hunter and a track star, because they hired me like that and got me started right away. It's not even funny how much ass I kick back there. Hell, yesterday I was told that I have beautiful eyes from one lady and was given a tip from another. I asked the other guys in back if they had ever been offered a tip and the only answer I got was, "Nope." Shiiit, it was only my fourth day too! C.R.E.A.M.*!

There were some other little social gatherings that went on last week, but Adam was up late last night and still a wittle sweepy.

I'm off the 4th, so call me with what's going on. I think that I work the 5th and 6th, so let me know what's going on with your B-Day Sam so I can make a preemptive strike on my scheduling and arrange some 'kickin' it' time.
