Hellgate Excursions

The Family and friends headed to Grants Pass this afternoon to go on the Hellgate Jetboat Excursions. My mom, sister, and youngest brother had all been on it before, but for the rest of us it was our first time. Though I was going be be in a boat traveling at high speeds with guaranteed showers from the 360 degree spins, I still felt it was necessary to have the iPhone. First of all I had some Fantasy football leagues to check up on and second for taking pictures. Most of the pictures were takin' from the boat while drifting in shallow water or on land. The last three pictures were taken while the boat was at full speed and in rotation. Though it took a spray, the iPhone delivered some good pictures and is still functional. I love this damn thing.

We got the dinner package, which means were were treated with a dinner including salad, BBQ chicken, ribs, scalloped potatoes, endless amounts of Coors Light and desert. It was an awesome trip in perfect weather.

I'll Take That

Therefore, we have decided to offer every iPhone customer who purchased an iPhone from either Apple or AT&T, and who is not receiving a rebate or any other consideration, a $100 store credit towards the purchase of any product at an Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store. Details are still being worked out and will be posted on Apple's website next week. Stay tuned.

The New Guys

Apple has announced a couple new faces to their iPod lineup: The new iPod Nano with video and the all-new iPod Touch.

The new Nano is looks like a squashed version of the iPod video but with a clean aluminum casing. It looks to be the size a big Cheez-it in this advertisement. It weighs 1.74 ounces, has a 2 inch screen and comes in 4 and 8GB models with five different colors available. It also has the cover flow feature so that you can scroll though your album covers.

The iPod Touch ( I'll be calling it the iTouch) is for everyone that wants the look sand feel of the iPhone but without the $600 price tag and without the whole phone part. The iTouch a multi media tool that uses the same multi touch interface as the iPhone and has Wi-Fi capabilities for crazy, totally spontaneous Internet usage. It can also store your photos, play your music and videos. You can download music straight from iTunes, watch YouTube videos, store contacts and calender information. Word? But still Apple has only made is available, so far, in 8 and 16GB versions. The iTouch costs only $300, which compared the iPhone is, well, half the price. I'd love to see someone dual wielding an iPhone and an iTouch. It'll happen.
